After years of speculation, wishful thinking, and countless fan theories, it's finally happening.

K-pop legends BIGBANG have officially announced their long-awaited return to the global stage with a massive worldwide stadium tour celebrating the group's 20th anniversary. Even better? G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, and DAESUNG are reuniting for their first tour together since 2017.

Long before K-pop became a worldwide phenomenon, BIGBANG helped pave the way. Through genre-defying music, record-breaking tours, trendsetting fashion, and global cultural influence, the group transformed what was possible for Korean artists on the world stage.

Their impact can still be felt across today's music industry, with countless artists citing them as inspirations and trailblazers.

The announcement arrives just months after BIGBANG's headline-grabbing return at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Their performance quickly became one of the festival's most talked-about moments, reminding fans and critics alike why the group remains a force nearly two decades into their career.

For many fans, Coachella felt like a reunion. Now, it's clear it was only the beginning.

The tour also follows the success of "Still Life," BIGBANG's 2022 comeback single that earned widespread critical acclaim and proved the group's enduring relevance in an ever-changing music landscape.

Now they're taking things to an entirely new level.

WHERE BIGBANG IS HEADING

The 31-show stadium tour will visit major cities across four continents, including stops in South Korea, the United States, Europe, Singapore, Australia, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and more.

North American fans can catch the group in:

  • Oakland, California

  • East Rutherford, New Jersey

European stops include:

  • Paris, France

  • London, England

The tour launches August 21, 2026, at Goyang Stadium in South Korea before wrapping with two massive shows in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in February 2027.

WHY THIS IS SUCH A BIG DEAL

It's hard to overstate BIGBANG's influence.

From chart-topping hits like "Fantastic Baby," "Bang Bang Bang," and "Haru Haru" to their groundbreaking solo careers, the members helped define an entire era of K-pop. Their success opened doors for future generations of artists and helped establish K-pop as a dominant force in global pop culture.

A stadium tour of this scale isn't just a comeback—it's a celebration of one of the genre's most important acts. And judging by the reaction online, fans are more than ready.

HOW TO GET TICKETS

The official tour name, ticket sale dates, and additional details will be announced at a later date.

For now, fans can register for updates through BIGBANG's official fan platform and stay tuned for future announcements. One thing is already certain: 2026 is shaping up to be the year of BIGBANG.
