Guns N’ Roses just kicked off the North American leg of their world tour and yes, they played all the classics.
There's something reassuring about a Guns N' Roses setlist. No matter how many decades pass, the opening chords of "Welcome to the Jungle" still hit like a shot of adrenaline.
The legendary rock band officially launched the North American leg of its 2026 World Tour Thursday night with an explosive opening show at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina, kicking off an 18-date run across the U.S. and Canada after wrapping legs through Latin America and Europe.
The nearly three-hour performance balanced the band's biggest hits with newer material. Fans got everything they'd hoped for, including "Sweet Child O' Mine," "November Rain," "Paradise City," and "Nightrain," alongside recent releases "Perhaps," "The General," and the band's latest singles, "Nothin" and "Atlas."
The Raleigh stop marks the beginning of a busy North American stretch produced by Live Nation, with upcoming dates in Toronto, Las Vegas, Vancouver, San Diego, Arlington, Atlanta, and a long-awaited return to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, the band's first performance at the iconic venue in more than 30 years.
The tour also follows a busy year for Guns N' Roses. Alongside their latest singles, the band recently released a deluxe edition of Live Era '87-'93, featuring newly remastered audio and updated artwork, giving fans fresh reasons to revisit one of rock's most enduring catalogs.
If opening night proved anything, it's that Guns N' Roses still know exactly how to command a stadium. Three decades later, the "Nightrain" is still rolling, and fans are more than happy to climb aboard.
