Your hair straightener could officially be smarter than your ex
Unlike your ex, we hear Dyson’s latest beauty gadget actually knows when to cool things down.

Tale as old as time: your ex was the issue all along but you ignored all the burning red flags because you thought he was your only option. But allow me to let you in on a little secret: baddies never have just one option and there is always better.
Dyson may have the answer to your problems with their latest beauty release: the Corrale CoolShine™ straightener.

Dyson’s latest beauty gadget is advertised to combine its flexible styling plates with a removable cooling attachment designed to manage heat and help create a glossy finish with fewer passes. The company says that means less time exposing your hair to high temperatures, which is a promising upgrade from the usual routine of repeatedly going over the same section until it cooperates, you know what I mean?
Celebrity hairstylists are already raving about the tool, something your stylist would never do for your ex, which made its red-carpet debut at the Emmys and was used to style stars including Carey Mulligan and Emmy winner Rhea Seehorn. Now, considering you didn't want to take your ex out in public because you were nervous about how they'd make you look a celebrity approved upgrade sounds pretty good. That said, the real test may come from people using it before a night out in a regular bathroom and not a celebrity glam station at the Emmys.

At $329.99 this gadget being on the pricier side it begs the aged old question: Am I investing in something that'll benefit me or damage all that new growth I did over the summer?
Online chatter has mixed opinions with buyers comparing results to previous Dyson straightening tools and weighing if the money is worth the convenience.
One Reddit user writes about her experience:
"I bought one. Mainly for travel though. I have the Airwrap and Airstrait and they are great but can't travel international with them. I got the Corrale for the cord free factor as well. Overall, it's nice but it just depends on what you're looking for."
Another Reddit user is less impressed with the chord free aspect:
"It’s fine but no better than like a chi. Cord free is nice, but I can easily do all my hair on half a charge; many people say the battery doesn’t last long enough for their hair type. It’s heavy. Heavier than usual irons. I’m used to it. And the battery can’t be replaced when it wears out. I also think it’s just as damaging as any normal iron out there. So it’s fine but not like revolutionary."
If you're looking for an upgrade in your hair routine that doesn't disappoint, this may be for you.
