What's in the Box!? 5 Things GTA VI's Collection Box Should Have Had
With mixed reviews from fans, here are some fan suggestions of what should have been included in the collector's box.
Though the delays of Grand Theft Auto VI has garnered the meme " We got _____ before GTA VI" that can be chalked up to impatiently waiting a good product.
The same sentiment about waiting for a good product has not been shared with some of the GTA VI community and the Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection.
Most unhappy observers complain about the price but a select few feel as though they've thought of items that would make the product if the box contained them.
Here are the top 5 most desired items fans wish were inside the box (in no particular order).
A physical copy in a special (steel) case.
This is a touchy subject given the change from physical to digital only media by PlayStation but the general sentiment is that the game isn't included in the collection. I'm sure a code for the digital game would still leave people sore but since this is a wishful list, the sky is the limit.
A GTA VI Themed Controller
For most collectors, they prefer a usable controller and display ones so even if they already purchased a limited edition GTA VI controller, an extra one wouldn't hurt. They could have also had a "Macca the Gator" exclusive one that has a black/hot pink color scheme in case they worried about people being reluctant to double dip.
A Concept Art Book
With loading screens becoming a thing of the past, certain gamers will miss the collage of images in between locations or changing over to online play. A concept art booklet would be a way for those who will miss those images to get an eyeful in their pastime or just a way to make sure all creators that were a part of this large development don't go unnoticed.
An Exclusive T-Shirt
Subtlety is paramount when it comes to fashion so having matching shirts with the GTA VI mascot "Macca the Gator" would be a fantastic addition to the collection box.
The Soundtrack Vinyl
Once again, this is something that they're selling separately but there are two iterations of it. I'm suggesting the lower tier so people who are willing to buy in can see the box as more of a bundle deal.
Though these are minor nitpicks about what should have been inside of the box, it just goes to show that the fans are excited and want more of what Rockstar Games can supply.
