A24 is one of the newer top film companies and I don't think there's anything they can't do.

I used to think that A24 was an indie movie company that has the luxury of breaking the mold and blowing away my expectations but after their new documentary "You Can See Everything" becoming the second largest documentary opening weekend only being beaten by "Fahrenheit 9/11" which came out in 2004.

In retrospect, A24 hasn't taken their foot off the gas pedal since their inception in 2012 with "Spring Breakers". Even if that can be debated not to be a hit, "Ex Machina" two years later in 2014 is a more difficult argument.

From then on, as a viewer, their motto has been "be thought provoking and visually striking" and they never disappoint.

I definitely am bias as their name attached to something will have my butt in a seat without hesitation. The initial trailers for their movie "Bring Her Back" were hopelessly ambiguous but seeing their name on it, convinced me instantaneously to go see it.

With their success in the documentary space, it is as if the world is their creative oyster. From TV, to Movie, to Documentary, they've been successful. If they can deliver in any other creative space, I'd trust their judgement, weather it be musical theatre or as music producers.

Be sure to clutch your Robert Pattison nesting dolls while watching the gripping documentary "You Can See Everything" if you are a part of the few who hasn't seen it yet in theatres.
