Netflix has officially entered its boy band era. Meet Midnight Til Morning, the four-piece pop outfit formed on the hit reality series Building the Band — and they’re already saying “Bye.”

No, not to each other. “Bye” is the band’s debut single, a cinematic, heartbreak-laced ballad marking their first official release. Combining vocal power, emotional vulnerability, and that polished Netflix-level charisma, the group seems determined to turn their streaming success into global chart domination.

Made up of Conor Smith (US), Shane Appell (Australia), Mason Watts (Australia), and Zach Newbould (US), Midnight Til Morning blends American and Australian pop DNA. The track “Bye,” co-written by Benson Boone and Amy Allen (Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter), was produced by Rizk alongside Grammy-nominated JT Daly of PVRIS. Think: emotional pop with just enough stadium-ready drama. A music video for the single — dropping later this month — is directed by Josh Harris (Peach PRC, Go-Jo), leaning into moody lighting and close-ups for max heartbreak energy. (Yes, we expect the TikToks to follow.)

And speaking of TikTok: since the show aired, Midnight Til Morning has seen explosive fan growth across social media, with followers drawn to their behind-the-scenes friendship and undeniable stage chemistry.

Backing their launch is none other than Chugg Music, with industry legend Michael Chugg bringing decades of music biz experience to the mix. If you’re into acts like Lime Cordiale or Sheppard, you’ll want to keep your eyes (and ears) on this one.

But the big surprise? Midnight Til Morning isn’t wasting any time — they’ve already announced a major North American tour kicking off this October. Cue the fan signs, arena tears, and inevitable live versions of “Bye.” They also released a second track, “Ghost of Us,” the more upbeat, soaring sibling to their debut. Co-written with Robby De Sa, it’s a powerful counterpart that hints at the band’s full sonic range.
