This past weekend (Friday, August 1), PATRÓN Tequila officially claimed its place as the festival’s go-to libation—transforming the Lollapalooza grounds in Chicago into a tequila-powered oasis. Their immersive activation, Hacienda PATRÓN, served as more than a branded booth—it became a mini music experience inside the festival.

A Taste of Jalisco Meets Chicago Vibes
Hacienda PATRÓN was a two-story reimagining of the brand’s Jalisco distillery, complete with wood lounge seating, vinyl DJ sets, bamboo décor, and a constant flow of signature Headliner Margaritas. Think tequila meets tropical retreat, all without leaving Grant Park
Unexpected Set from Electronic Duo Two Friends
Adding to the immersion, surprise guests Two Friends delivered an energetic unannounced set inside the lounge. What started as a casual cocktail hour turned into a dancefloor frenzy—complete with remixes, high-energy beats, and rave-worthy vibes. The duo later posted about it: “We brought the heat to Hacienda @patron… the Headliner Margaritas were flowing…”

Fans and insiders quickly dubbed the space a highlight of Lolla weekend. On Instagram, festival-goers called the Hacienda their second home, praising the “energy” and cocktail quality that kept the party going
This weekend marked another chapter in PATRÓN’s multi-year partnership with Live Nation, where the tequila brand is reimagining festival activations across major U.S. music events. Lolla was the centerpiece stop, welcoming over 400,000 fans to its handcrafted niche. Beyond the drinks and DJs, the brand is embracing music culture as part of its core identity. As PATRÓN’s VP of Marketing D–J Hageman told Forbes, their goal is to “embody the spirit of music”—putting tequila and creativity center stage in sync with festival culture
