This fall, FOX sends 18 bold-faced names straight into the desert, and not for a fame shot, but for a fight. Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test returns Thursday, September 25 (9/8c), with a star-studded squad enduring brutal survival drills in Morocco, and yes, there’s zero glam allowed.

Celebrity Commandos in Training
This season’s recruits come from all walks of fame—music, sports, TV, and everything in between. But out in the Moroccan desert, none of that matters. There are no scripts, no second takes, and no special treatment. Just raw grit, real emotions, and the toughest mental and physical tests they’ve ever faced. Before it all begins, get to know the people behind the names.
Meet the 18 celebrity recruits joining Special Forces:

Olympians Christie Pearce Rampone and Shawn Johnson East—paired with their husbands—trade medals for mud pits. Pop culture icons like Chanel Iman, Eva Marcille, and Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia also suit up.
No Eliminations. No Voting. Just Survival.
Dropping into Morocco means urban warfare simulations meet burning desert sands. Recruits face gut-wrenching drills like rat-runs through narrow tunnels, underwater escapes from submerged aircraft shells, and high-stakes urban ladder crossings 50 feet above ground. And for the first time, family or spouse duos start together but must compete solo—no holidays here, just hard yards. No voting. No eliminations. Just survival.
Where the Real Forces Run the Show
This isn’t a celebrity soft-fit. Ex-Special Forces pros—Rudy Reyes, Mark “Billy” Billingham, Jason “Foxy” Fox, and Jovon “Q” Quarles, run the gauntlet. Someone’s got to learn what no guts, no glory really means.
Expect intense physical exhaustion, emotional breakdowns, and dramatic near-misses. Season 3 veterans like Brody Jenner and Kayla Nicole shared how the show nearly broke them—but also incredibly bonded them. Jenner revealed post-show he was “in rough shape,” and Nicole spoke of newfound mental toughness despite emotional curveballs. Variety in casting means there’s someone for every viewer to relate to—or question. Will reality TV royalty like the Giudices survive? Can Johnny Manziel rewrite his narrative? Is modeling royalty like Chanel Iman really grit-tested? Eyes are already glued to the trailer-less teasers.
As audiences countdown to September 25, anticipation is ramping. Think sweat, strategy, and no filter. This desert has more stories to unearth.
